Your SSL Certificate will remain in your Account as Pending status, unless you request a Cancellation.
Approval emails from the Certificate Authority remain valid for 30 days after they’re sent. After that, the code they contain for Domain Control Validation (DCV) expires.
If that happens, view the steps to resend the approval email. You can use Sectigo’s SSL Validation Tool as well to resend the approval email or change the validation method.
